Job Description Summary:

ModMed is seeking an RCM Training Consultant who will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs for Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) solutions, ensuring clients and internal teams are proficient in utilizing our software to optimize their financial operations.
Your Role:
  • Design, develop, and update training materials, including presentations, user guides, job aids, and e-learning modules, for various RCM products and features.
  • Conduct engaging and effective virtual and in-person training sessions for clients (medical practices, hospitals, and billing companies) and internal Modernizing Medicine staff.
  • Assess training needs and tailor content and delivery methods to diverse audiences with varying levels of technical proficiency and RCM experience.
  • Provide ongoing support and consultation to trainees, addressing questions, troubleshooting issues, and offering best practices for RCM workflows.
  • Collaborate with product development, implementation, and support teams to stay informed about product updates and enhancements, incorporating relevant information into training programs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, and make continuous improvements.
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of Modernizing Medicine's RCM software and industry best practices.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of a knowledge base and frequently asked questions (FAQs) related to RCM training.
  • Travel as required to client sites for on-site training and support.

Skills & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Education, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in RCM training, implementation, or a related healthcare IT role.
  • Proven expertise in Revenue Cycle Management processes, including patient registration, charge entry, claims submission, denial management, payment posting, and accounts receivable follow-up.
  • Strong understanding of medical billing and coding (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS).
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver engaging and effective training programs to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Proficiency in creating professional training documentation and presentations using tools like Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning development tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Certification in professional training or adult education is desirable.
