Job Summary
 Fleming Dermatology & Aesthetic Center has an immediate opening for an experienced Dermatology Medical Assistant /Scribe to join our back-office clinical team in Laguna Hills.
We are specifically seeking a Medical Assistant with at least 1 year of dermatology experience who is comfortable scribing/documenting directly with the physician and assisting with medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology procedures.
Experience with Modernizing Medicine (ModMed/EMA) is highly preferred
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of back-office dermatology Medical Assistant experience
  • Medical scribing and accurate clinical documentation experience
  • Dermatology terminology and patient room experience
  • Experience assisting with biopsies and dermatologic procedures
  • Excellent patient service and communication skills
Job responsibilities:
  • Scribe/document clinical visits accurately and efficiently
  • Room patients and prepare for examination and procedures
  • Obtain consents
  • Prepare and assist with biopsies, ED&C excisions and Mohs-related care
  • Prepare and assist with cosmetic procedures
  • Set up lasers and testing equipment
  • Clean and prepare instruments and exam rooms
  • Manage medical and surgical supply inventory
  • Assist with efficient patient flow and physician support
