Job description


We are looking for a talented General Assembly to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Mineral Point, WI.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
  • Ensuring Safety: By promptly reporting hazards and incidents, and using appropriate personal protective equipment, you will help maintain a safe work environment.
  • Promoting Health: Engaging in HSE training and promoting interdependence will contribute to a healthier workplace.
  • Maintaining Quality: Following standard work procedures and performing quality inspections will help minimize costs and improve product quality.
  • Supporting Delivery: By performing your role effectively and supporting continuous improvement activities, you'll enhance process efficiency and productivity.
  • Sustaining Cleanliness: Keeping your work area clean and orderly will contribute to a more efficient and pleasant working environment.
  • Applying Best Practices: Utilizing Cummins Operating System (COS) practices and Operations Excellence (OE) methodology will help optimize plant operations.

Education/Experience
  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
  • Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
