Their duties may also include educating patients on safe usage and performing routine maintenance or repairs.

What are the typical daily responsibilities of a mobility technician?

Mobility Technicians spend their days diagnosing, assembling, maintaining, and repairing a variety of mobility aids like wheelchairs and scooters, both in workshop settings and at client locations. Daily tasks often include conducting equipment safety checks, following up with clients to ensure proper usage, documenting work orders, and keeping accurate service records. Technicians may also collaborate with healthcare providers, occupational therapists, or team members to tailor solutions to a user's specific needs. This multifaceted role offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for ongoing learning and personal interaction.
