Job Summary
As a Mobile Trailer Mechanic, you will travel to customer sites in a mobile service truck to perform on-site diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on tractor trailer equipment. This role is ideal for a self-motivated, safety-conscious trailer mechanic who enjoys working independently, outdoors, and directly supporting fleet operations.
You’ll be responsible for keeping our customers’ trailers and fleets on the road by delivering high-quality, timely repairs in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair truck and trailer systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and component replacements
- Operate and maintain a mobile service truck
- Ensure compliance with all safety and DOT regulations
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams
- Maintain accurate service and repair documentation
- Weekend and on-call availability as needed
Requirements
- Trailer repair experience required
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Willingness to be on-call
