About the Role:

As a Part-Time Trailer Mechanic, you’ll be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of semi-trucks and tractor-trailers. You’ll diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, ensuring our equipment stays in top condition and ready for the road. Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose mechanical issues in semi-trucks and tractor-trailers using advanced diagnostic tools.

Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections to keep our fleet in excellent shape.

Test equipment and systems to ensure top performance and reliability.

Repair and maintain brakes, electrical systems, and other critical components.

Replace worn or damaged parts with precision and care.

Accurately document all repairs and maintenance activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma or GED certificate required.

Certificate or technical training in mechanics and truck repair (preferred).

Strong knowledge of air brakes, hydraulics, electrical, and ABS brake systems (preferred).

Experience using a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Valid driver’s license and a strong commitment to safety.

Physical strength and stamina to handle the demands of the job.

Welding or fabrication experience is a plus!
