Trailer Technician Mechanic
Location: Cincinnati OH
Interstate Utility Trailer is seeking an experienced Trailer Rebuild Technician at our Cincinnati OH shop.

Responsibilities for a Trailer Technician:
  • Perform trailer repairs, including wall patches and floor patches
  • Perform welding as needed
  • Follow checklists ensuring all critical parts are examined.
  • Examine protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks, and adjust as needed.

  • Tag all warranty parts and returns to the warranty clerk.
  • Attend training classes and keep tabs on factory technical bulletins.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase overall customer happiness.
  • Properly complete the service and/or repairs assigned by the supervisor.
  • Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements and published procedures.
  • Maintain your designated workspace in an organized and clean manner.
  • Show the utmost courtesy to all guests, visitors, and dealership personnel.
  • Adhere to manufacturerโ€™s policies and procedures as they relate to labor operations, time, and repair order documentation when performing warranty repairs and torque specifications.
Qualifications for a Trailer Technician:
  • Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen
  • Teammate with a strong sense of dedication to the customer and service team
  • Self-motivated and professional
  • Must be able to work independently
Physical Requirements:
  • Sitting, Climbing, Standing, Stooping/Kneeling for extended amounts of time.
  • Reaching with arms and hands
  • Lift up to 80 pounds
