Job Type:
  1. Position available is Full-Time/Regular and Non-Exempt
  2. Job Level: mid level to advanced - meaning more than 3-5 years experience in the preferred RV, Mobile home, home building, automotive, construction, and property management.
  3. Primary Location: 240 Tom Miller Rd., Plattsburgh with some road service required

RV Service Technician Position:
Job responsibilities would be similar to a general handyman. To include repairing damaged or defective portions of any RV that may require service; includes cabinetry, general repairs, plumbing, 12 VDC and 110 VAC electrical systems, propane, appliances, and demonstrating and dialogue with customers on the operation of recreational vehicle.
We looking for a senior level RV Service Technician. This position will have mentoring, training and certification tracks that promotes your personal growth. This is a summary of the RV Technician position and is not intended to be a complete job description.
Pay is based on qualifications, experience, skills, training, certifications, flexibility, quality of work, and work ethic. Just as importantly, is how this person fits in with our existing team and customer service culture.

Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Preferred Requirements:
  1. Positions require valid drivers license and with clean driving record.
  2. Ability to obtain a DOT physical, cleared to tow up to 18,000#s
  3. Must have own tools as list on company required tool list.
  4. Frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions, mechanical parts & fumes
  5. Some lifting up to 50-95lbs
  6. Comfortable with an iPad or Computer
  7. Ability to work safely on ladders and Scaffolding
  8. Must be able to pass physical and drug/alcohol screening prior to employment. We promote a drug-free work environment; ongoing testing to maintain employment.
  9. Experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  10. Experience in transporting recreational vehicles helpful.
  11. Good written and oral communication skills
  12. Keeps track of parts and materials used in repair or replacement activities.
  13. Keeps supervisor apprised of work progress and ensures that the final work product is inspected by supervisor or designee.
  14. Basic mathematical ability
  15. Demonstrates operation of newly installed equipment
  16. Monitors operation of newly installed equipment.
  17. Maintains a safe work area for customers and coworkers.
  18. Understanding and interpretation of electrical diagrams and basic construction drawings
  19. Plans sequence of functions necessary for repair or replacement activities.
  20. Wiliness to comply and provides exceptional customer service based on the processes in place
  21. Keep units and equipment secure from weather
  22. Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned and performs duties at company established performance levels
  23. There will be a need to perform internal non-collectable duties.
  24. Extra time during Monday Friday and Saturday hours may be required
