Mobile Rn information

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Mobile RN, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Mobile RN, you need a valid RN license, strong clinical assessment abilities, and experience in diverse care settings such as home health or travel nursing. Familiarity with mobile health technology, telehealth platforms, and electronic health records is crucial for documentation and remote communication. Excellent time management, adaptability, and interpersonal skills help Mobile RNs build rapport with patients and navigate varying environments. These skills enable effective, high-quality care delivery in dynamic, non-traditional settings where independence and flexibility are essential.

How to make 300,000 dollars as a nurse online?

A Mobile RN can increase earnings online by offering telehealth consultations, providing specialized nursing education, or creating digital health content. Building a strong reputation, obtaining relevant certifications, and leveraging telemedicine platforms can help reach higher income levels, but earning 300,000 dollars annually typically requires advanced skills, experience, and possibly multiple income streams.

How to make an extra 2000 a month as a nurse?

Mobile RNs can increase their income by taking on additional shifts, working overtime, or providing specialized services such as home health or telehealth. Gaining certifications in areas like IV therapy or wound care can also command higher pay, and working flexible or per diem schedules can help reach the extra income goal.

What is a Mobile RN?

A Mobile RN, or Mobile Registered Nurse, is a licensed nursing professional who travels to various locations, such as patients' homes, clinics, or care facilities, to provide nursing care. Unlike traditional nurses who work in a fixed location, Mobile RNs have flexible schedules and often serve multiple patients in different settings throughout their workday. Their responsibilities can include administering medications, wound care, health assessments, and patient education. This role is vital for patients who have difficulty traveling to healthcare facilities or require home-based care.

How can an RN make money from home?

A Mobile RN can earn income from home by providing telehealth consultations, remote patient monitoring, and health education services. These roles often require licensure, strong communication skills, and familiarity with telemedicine technology.

How to make 150,000 as a nurse?

To earn $150,000 as a Mobile RN, gaining specialized skills such as IV therapy, wound care, or telemetry can increase earning potential. Working in high-demand areas, taking on travel or agency assignments, and obtaining certifications like ACLS or PALS can also help achieve higher salaries, especially with overtime and flexible schedules.

What are some common challenges Mobile RNs face when providing care across different locations?

Mobile RNs often encounter challenges such as adapting to new environments quickly, managing varying patient populations, and working with different healthcare teams at each site. They must be highly organized to coordinate care efficiently and ensure all necessary supplies and documentation are handled properly. Flexibility and strong communication skills are essential, as Mobile RNs frequently collaborate with diverse staff and must swiftly build rapport with both colleagues and patients.

Job description

Mobile RN โ€“ Join Our Mobile RN Team
Baseline Medical is a women-owned, nurse-led company redefining how medical care is delivered across the DMV. We provide mobile medical services and IV therapy to patients in their homes, hotels, and offices โ€” bringing high-quality clinical care directly to where people are. We are growing our Mobile RN Team and looking for experienced, highly skilled Registered Nurses who want to practice nursing in a more personal, professional, and modern way.
This is an opportunity for nurses who are confident clinically, excellent with patients, strong with IVs, and excited to be part of a company building the future of mobile medical care

The Role
Our Mobile RN position is structured and shift-basedโ€”not an on-call role. Nurses begin and end their shifts at our Fairfax office, where supplies are managed and stocked. You will not be required to store or carry supplies at home. This structured approach ensures consistency, safety, and support for both our patients and our team.
Mobile RNs work under the supervision of an experienced Clinical Team Leader, Nurse Practitioners and our Medical Director, supported by a dedicated Logistics team that manages scheduling and client communication. You will focus on delivering excellent care.ย
This role is a great fit for nurses who want:
  • A more autonomous nursing role outside the hospital setting
  • A premium patient-care environment
  • Structured shifts instead of on-call work
  • Flexible part-time self scheduling options
  • Hourly stability with additional earning upside
  • The chance to help build a new category of mobile medical care
Responsibilities
  • Provide safe, professional mobile medical services including IV therapy to patients in their homes, hotels, or offices.
  • Maintain high standards of clinical care, following established policies and procedures.
  • Work with Nurse Practitioners Virtuallyย
  • Document patient care accurately and efficiently.
  • Uphold the professional image of Baseline Medical as the regionโ€™s leader in mobile medical care.
Qualifications
  • Active RN license for VA, MD, DCย
  • 2+ years of recent acute care or infusion experience.
  • Strong IV insertion skills, with ability to work independently in a mobile environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
Pay & Benefits
Our compensation model is designed to provide both stability and performance-based upside.
Mobile RNs are paid an hourly base rate for all scheduled shifts, combined with additional service-based compensation tied to completed appointments. This structure ensures consistent earnings while rewarding efficiency, skill, and productivity.
Hourly base: $30โ€“$35/hr + service-based compensation
On average, our nurses earn between $40โ€“$70 per hour depending on shift volume, experience, and performance, with top performers consistently earning on the higher end of that range.ย
Mileage reimbursement.ย

Part-time scheduling options are available, including 8 or 10 hour shifts. Flexible self scheduling is coordinated based on availability and business needs.
Who This Role Is Best For
This role is ideal for nurses who are clinically strong, highly professional, and ready for a different kind of nursing environment.
You may be a great fit if you enjoy one-on-one patient care, take pride in excellent IV skills, communicate well with patients, and want to be part of a growing nurse-led company that values structure, professionalism, and high standards.
Baseline Medical is building something different โ€” and we are looking for nurses who want to grow with us.
