Position Overview:

As a Mobile Trailer Technician, you will travel to customer locations to perform trailer inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs. This is a hands-on role ideal for technicians who enjoy problem-solving, working independently, and delivering high-quality service in the field. You'll work on a wide range of trailer systems and equipment while representing one of the most recognized transportation maintenance networks in North America.

What You'll Do

Respond to mobile service calls and complete on-site trailer repairs

Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot trailer issues

Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections

Repair and replace trailer components including:

  • Brake systems
  • Suspension systems
  • Electrical wiring and lighting
  • Floors, doors, frames, and structural components
  • Troubleshooting and repairing liftgate issues

Perform welding and fabrication work as required

Complete work orders and maintenance documentation

Manage inventory and parts on service vehicle

Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment

Equipment You'll Service:

Dry van trailers | Flatbed trailers | Utility trailers Cargo trailers | Commercial fleet trailers

What We're Looking For:

Experience as a Trailer Technician, Trailer Mechanic, Mobile Mechanic, or Fleet Maintenance Technician

Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills

Experience with welding, brake systems, suspension, and electrical repair

Ability to work independently in a mobile service environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment

CDL and DOT experience considered an asset
