We are seeking a 99th percentile Consumer Mobile Product Designer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing intuitive, visually appealing, and highly functional consumer apps that leverage the full suite of advanced capabilities available on iPhone and Android platforms. You'll craft experiences that feel effortless yet powerful, making complex technology simple and accessible to users.
What You'll Do
Design Intuitive User Experiences: Create user-friendly designs for mobile apps that prioritize simplicity, beauty, and functionality.
Leverage Advanced Mobile Features: Utilize the latest capabilities of iOS and Android platforms, such as AR, gestures, haptics, biometrics, and voice recognition, to create delightful and innovative experiences.
Craft Visual Designs: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI designs that align with brand guidelines and resonate with the target audience.
Drive Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with product managers, engineers, product marketers, and other designers to ensure your designs are feasible and optimized for implementation.
Conduct Research: Understand user needs through user research, usability testing, and feedback loops to inform design decisions.
Stay Current: Stay updated on platform updates, design trends, and best practices to push the boundaries of mobile app design.
Prototype Solutions: Rapidly prototype ideas to communicate and validate concepts with stakeholders and users.
What We're Looking For
Experience: 5+ years of experience in mobile product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing consumer-facing apps, ideally with millions of users.
Design Guidelines Knowledge: Familiarity with iOS and Android design guidelines (e.g., Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design) and platform-specific features.
Creativity and Simplicity: Demonstrated ability to design elegant solutions that simplify complex interactions or technologies.
Attention to Detail: Strong sense of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.
Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
