The Manager, Home Infusion Pharmacy and Ambulatory Infusion Suites supports the vision for pharmacy services and promotes key process bundles to deliver safe patient medication use. In this role you will manage pharmacy teams to be self-directed, working at the top of their license/certification as innovative problem solvers.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
  • Working Hours: Monday through Friday from 8AM to 4:30PM EST. Occasional weekend and holiday work required.
  • Will need to travel to Munster, IN once a month. Additional travel as needed.
  • Oversee pharmacy operations across multiple locations.
  • Lead team to ensure seamless quality, pharmacy-centered care throughout the health-illness continuum.
  • Participate and lead initiatives to improve patient and health-system operations.
  • Delegate effectively by entrusting responsibility and authority to others.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain patient-centered clinical services in an outpatient setting.
  • Serve as subject matter expert to internal staff and external bodies to the organization on
  • questions and activities regarding Franciscan Home Infusion Pharmacy services.
  • Coordinate communication within pharmacy operations community throughout the facility to
  • ensure new and/or updated medication management information is effectively shared and
  • implemented.
  • Supervise direct reports and manages the performance of individuals through ongoing coaching, feedback, and development to motivate, engage and drive a high performing team.
  • Develop and manage one or multiple departmental budget(s), including making budget
  • allocations, approving expenditures and ensuring expenses are within budget.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree BSPharm - Required -OR-
  • Doctorate PharmD - Required
  • Master's Degree MHA, MPH, MBA or MMM - Preferred
  • 3 years Progressive pharmacy practice experience with documented success in a home infusion, hospital or integrated health-system, and/or managed care environment with broad clinical, operational, and regulatory practical experience - Required
  • 1 year Supervisory experience - Preferred
  • Registered Pharmacist (RPh) - State Licensing Board State of Indiana upon hire - Required
  • Board Certification (BRD CERT) - (BCPS, BCSCP, BCNSP, BCIDP, BCGP, BCACP) within 1 year of hire - Preferred
