To strengthen our Operations Team in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, we are seeking a dedicated and reliable Second Pressman for the Third Shift. The successful candidate will assist in the operation, setup, maintenance, and quality control of printing press equipment, ensuring efficient production and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Your Role
  • You will assist the Pressman in the setup, operation, and maintenance of printing press equipment to achieve production, quality, and safety objectives.
  • You will prepare materials, inks, plates, and other supplies required for efficient press operations and timely production runs.
  • You will monitor print quality throughout production and support adjustments to ensure compliance with customer specifications and company standards.
  • You will support press changeovers, basic troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • You are committed to maintaining a safe work environment while adhering to all quality, safety, and manufacturing procedures and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Profile
  • Associate degree in Industrial Mechanics, Manufacturing Technology, Graphic Arts, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a printing environment, preferably operating or supporting offset printing press equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and support preventive maintenance activities.
  • Proven attention to detail and commitment to meeting quality, safety, and production standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, communicate clearly across shifts, and adapt to changing production priorities.
