How you'll contribute
  • Perform moderate to high complex testing and waived testing procedures and reports test results.
  • Perform instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Perform quality control testing.
  • Maintain supplies needed for performance of tests.
  • Perform phlebotomy procedures and drug screen collections according to policy and procedure.
  • Accurately register client samples, results with comments, order tests, cancel and add tests as required.
  • Handle with Care participation annually or CPI participation every 2 years.

What we're looking for
  • Applicants should have an Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Science (May be grandfathered in with Certification or Diploma)
  • TN MLT license preferred but not required
  • ASCP (MLT) Certification required
Additional requirements include:
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Completion of a 50-week US Military Medical Lab training course and a minimum of two (2) years of experience is accepted in lieu of education.
