What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an MLS?

To thrive as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, you need a strong background in biological sciences, laboratory procedures, and typically a bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science or a related field along with national certification (such as ASCP).
