Medical Laboratory Technologist (MT / MLS / CLS) - ASCP Certified Take Your Lab Career Further in Livermore, IA Are you detail-oriented and passionate about making a difference in healthcare through accurate diagnostics? We're seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS), or Medical Technologist (MT) to join our dedicated laboratory team in Livermore, Iowa. Whether you're an experienced professional or transitioning from a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) role, this is your opportunity to grow in a supportive, collaborative environment that values precision and patient-centered care. What You'll Do Diagnostic Testing & Analysis
  • Conduct a wide range of laboratory tests on blood, tissue, and body fluids using modern clinical laboratory techniques.
Equipment Operation & Maintenance
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of diagnostic results.
Result Interpretation & Team Collaboration
  • Analyze and interpret lab results, working closely with physicians and clinical staff to support patient diagnosis and care.
Quality Control & Compliance
  • Maintain compliance with CLIA, CAP, and other standards through rigorous quality control, audits, and accurate documentation.
Mentorship & Support
  • Provide guidance to lab technicians and contribute to a positive, team-based work culture that emphasizes learning and safety.
Qualifications Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
Certification:
  • ASCP certification (MLS, CLS, or MT) or equivalent (e.g., AMT).
  • New graduates eligible for certification are encouraged to apply.
Skills & Experience:
  • Proficiency in lab techniques, equipment handling, and safety practices
  • Experience with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS)
