Job description

The Installation Associate (Mixer) is a full-time, non-exempt field position responsible for supporting residential installation projects by preparing, mixing, transporting, and supplying materials to the installation crew. This role is critical to maintaining workflow, jobsite efficiency, and overall project quality. The Mixer serves as a key support position on the crew and may have the opportunity to develop into a Finisher role based on performance, skill development, and business needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Material Mixing and Crew Support:

  • Prepare, measure, mix, and deliver installation materials to support daily production.
  • Maintain a steady flow of materials and supplies to the installation crew throughout the project.
  • Load, unload, stage, and organize materials, tools, and equipment at jobsites.
  • Assist lead installers and finishers with setup, preparation, and general labor tasks as needed.
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area during all phases of installation.

Jobsite and Installation Support:

  • Assist with residential project setup, surface preparation, masking, cleanup, and breakdown.
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Follow supervisor direction and company procedures to support timely project completion.
  • Protect customer property, finished surfaces, and company equipment during all work activities.
  • Report material shortages, equipment issues, or jobsite concerns promptly to the crew lead or supervisor.

Quality and Development:

  • Support crew productivity by ensuring materials are mixed consistently and delivered on time.
  • Learn installation techniques, materials, and processes through hands-on training.
  • Demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to develop additional skills.
  • May be considered for advancement into a Finisher role based on demonstrated performance, workmanship, and readiness.
