Job description

Wintegrity is searching for a Mitsubishi Controls Engineer inย Liberty, NC with 3 years of Mitsubishi programming skills (Mitsubishi PLC Controls,ย Q Series,ย IR Series,ย GX Works2/3,ย GT Designer).ย  Experience in a Body Shop around Presses and Dies would be a plus.ย  This is a First Shift Weekend position working Friday through Tuesday.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Designing, programming, and commissioning industrial controls systems consisting of PLC software and HMI screens for a variety of clients across different industries
  • You will be responsible for developing the code from scratch for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), installing the code, and completing on-site debugging and commissioning on the plant floor at client locations
  • Leading peripheral device programming (drives, servos, sensors, etc.) and coordinating the machine/system debug, power-up, and machine/system validation with company build and electrical teams
  • Validating that the industrial controls systems are designed and programmed in accordance with client and/or company build specifications and programming standards
  • Traveling to customer facilities to complete the installation, start-up, and commissioning of completed systems

Required Experience/Skills/Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Controls Engineering and PLC/HMI programming experience
  • 3+ years of Mitsubishi PLC/HMI programming experience (GT Designer, GOT HMI, GX Works 3, and/or iQ-R Series PLC's)
  • The ability to program/write code/ladder logic from scratch
  • Prior experience with automotive manufacturing integration
  • Prior experience programming within customer-defined standards and templates
  • Proficient with a variety of field bus networks including but not limited to DeviceNet, Ethernet I/P, Profibus, ProfiNet, etc.

Required Education/Training:
A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or related major is preferred
Equivalent field/on-the-job experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
