About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Water Mitigation & Repairs Estimator to join our growing restoration team. This role is responsible for inspecting residential and commercial properties after water, fire, mold, or storm damage, preparing accurate estimates, and guiding projects from initial inspection through reconstruction. If you have strong estimating skills, restoration industry experience, and a passion for helping customers during challenging times, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
  • Inspect residential and commercial properties to assess water, mold, fire, and storm damage to determine scope of mitigation and repair work
  • Prepare detailed, accurate mitigation and reconstruction estimates using industry-standard estimating software (Xactimate)
  • Submit documentation, photos, and estimates promptly and accurately
  • Communicate and negotiate estimates with insurance adjusters, property owners, and project managers
  • Coordinate with mitigation and reconstruction crews to ensure estimates align with field conditions
  • Document job sites with photos, moisture readings, and written scope of loss reports
  • Track project budgets and assist in negotiating estimates and supplements with insurance carriers when necessary 
  • Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and timely follow-up
  • Ensure compliance with IICRC standards, company procedures, and safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of estimating experience in the restoration, reconstruction, or insurance restoration industry 
  • Proficiency in Xactimate (required)
  • Knowledge of water mitigation, structural drying, reconstruction, and insurance claims processes.
  • Experience working with insurance claims and adjusters and third-party administrators (TPA's)
  • IICRC certification (WRT, ASD, or similar) is a required; Familiarity with moisture mapping and mitigation documentation 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first attitude; Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team 
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
