Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Lowell, AR that is seeking a Wireless Network Engineer - Juniper Mist Optimization for a contract or contract-to-hire role 6-12 months with potential to convert. The candidate is preferred onsite Monday - Friday; contract period could be remote, but onsite is expected if converted.
Primary Focus:
This role should be focused on Juniper Mist wireless deployment, optimization, and performance tuning as the client transitions from a legacy Cisco wireless environment to Juniper Mist.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Juniper Mist Wireless
* Wireless optimization and performance tuning
* AI-driven wireless platform experience
* Cisco wireless migration or legacy support
* Wireless troubleshooting
* User experience improvement across enterprise wireless environments
* Ability to support Cisco - Juniper Mist transition
Nice-to-Have Skills:
* Fortinet exposure
* General routing and switching
* Multi-site enterprise networking
* Arista exposure, but not required
Ideal Profile:
* Mid-to-senior Wireless Network Engineer with hands-on Juniper Mist experience who can optimize wireless performance, assist with migration from Cisco, and improve the end-user experience
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
