Our Client is a leading fast-fashion apparel manufacturer specializing in Junior, Young Contemporary, and Missy collections. Headquartered in Los Angeles, the company leverages a strong global manufacturing network to deliver trend-driven, high-quality fashion at accessible price points. With multiple brands under its parent company, Our Client serves a diverse customer base, including off-price retailers, boutiques, specialty stores, and national retail accounts.
Our Client is seeking an experienced Sales Representative with established relationships within the Missy, Junior, and Contemporary retail market, particularly with major department store and private-label (PD) accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and product assortments for assigned accounts.
Identify new business opportunities through market research and account analysis.
Build, manage, and expand relationships with Missy, Junior, and Contemporary retail customers.
Develop and execute seasonal sales strategies to maximize revenue and account profitability.
Manage customer orders, order maintenance, confirmations, and follow-up activities.
Monitor weekly retail sales performance to identify reorder opportunities and recommend future business strategies.
Collaborate with Design and Production teams on private-label and special production opportunities.
Represent the company at trade shows and industry events as required.
Maintain regular communication with clients to understand business needs and provide exceptional customer service.
Negotiate pricing, programs, and sales initiatives while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience in apparel wholesale sales, account management, or business development.
Minimum 8 years of experience in Missy apparel wholesale sales.
Minimum 5 years of active relationships with top Missy retail accounts (required).
Strong understanding of wholesale apparel, retail buying cycles, and fashion industry trends.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
