Growth Mindset Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough virtual psychosocial assessments to identify clients' emotional, psychological, and social strengths and needs to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to each client's unique situation, providing individual and group therapy sessions that promote healing and coping strategies.
  • Coordinate care with healthcare providers, including physicians and nursing staff, to ensure that all aspects of a client's health are being addressed continually.
  • Advocate vigorously for clients' rights, helping them access community resources and support services that enhance their quality of life.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes within electronic health records, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate actively in regular team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education activities to stay updated on best practices and enhance your clinical expertise.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on clients and families within the hospice care framework, addressing their specific mental health needs. This population may include individuals facing chronic illness, end-of-life issues, grief, and loss. You will provide essential support that acknowledges both their psychological and emotional experiences, empowering them and their families to navigate the challenges associated with pursuing meaningful connections and closure.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of clinical practices.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California, affirming your professional qualifications.
  • A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience providing clinical social work services, showcasing your ability to manage diverse client cases effectively.
  • Proficiency in diagnostic assessments and treatment plan development, with a particular focus on hospice-specific needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that allow you to establish rapport and trust with clients and their families across diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits
