Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalized mindfulness-based interventions, including MBSR techniques, to clients aimed at stress reduction, emotional regulation, and overall well-being.
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments to determine each client's specific stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, tailoring mindfulness practices to meet their unique needs.
  • Guide clients in mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques, enhancing their self-awareness and emotional balance.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops focusing on mindfulness practices, stress management, and resilience-building techniques.
  • Incorporate mindfulness strategies into individual therapy to support clients in addressing their mental health concerns and advancing their personal growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adults seeking therapeutic support for a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions. You will work with clients at varying stages of their mindfulness journey, from beginners to those experienced in mindfulness practices, enabling them to achieve greater awareness, resilience, and fulfillment in their lives.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Arizona.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using mindfulness strategies within therapeutic contexts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to cultivate a calming and supportive environment for clients.
Preferred Experience
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant field is preferred.
