• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnostic evaluations to understand clients' mental health challenges, which includes utilizing standardized assessment tools and engaging in direct interviews.
• Provide individual and family therapy sessions tailored to each client's unique needs and circumstances, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to promote personal growth and emotional resilience.
• Collaborate with clients to establish therapeutic goals, continuously tracking progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Offer teletherapy services to clients who prefer virtual sessions due to mobility challenges or geographical constraints, employing secure telehealth platforms to maintain client confidentiality.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and legal requirements in the practice of therapy.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and workshops, enhancing clinical skills and keeping abreast of innovative treatment methodologies in mental health care.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Mind Matters Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals coping with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and family dynamics. Our practice emphasizes a holistic approach, recognizing the interconnectedness of mental health and personal relationships. You will play a pivotal role in helping clients develop coping strategies, improve communication skills, and foster healthier relationships.

• Possession of an active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated ability to establish secure and trusting therapeutic relationships through exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exhibit empathy, nonjudgment, and understanding regarding clients' unique experiences and challenges.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of handling a diverse caseload and administrative duties efficiently.

• Previous experience providing therapy in a private practice or outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and others.
• Experience in treating addictions or dual-diagnosis cases is considered an asset.
