OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance and mechanical/hydraulic repairs on terminal equipment in order to maintain the facility at peak operating efficiency on a 24 hour basis, consistent with company and government standards of safety, environmental, and quality control.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Perform inspections and prepare reports on the condition of the following items: product pumps; marine crane and dock equipment; truck and rail car loading facilities; steam distribution equipment; utility pumps; and firewater pumps.
- Relocate, install, dismantle, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on pumps, valves, loading arms, winches, hose cradles, other equipment, and firewater system.
- Align and level equipment.
- Clean job site, ensure equipment, tools, and materials are returned to proper place.
- Perform duties of Maintenance Technician and other job related duties as training allows and assigned by Supervisor.
- Perform necessary repairs on terminal equipment as indicated based on inspection reports and as directed by Maintenance Supervisor.
- Complete and process assigned work orders at the completion of each task and review deficiencies with supervisors.
- Oversee assigned third party inspectors and approved contractors on the repairs and inspections of terminal equipment.
- Perform change of service tasks on equipment as assigned, participate in management of change process, and develop change of equipment reports.
- Incumbent will need a thorough knowledge of safety and environmental requirements in order to complete jobs per company/department expectation.
- Utilize knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and electricity awareness in order to troubleshoot and complete job/s.
- Follow company policies and comply with company regulations. Cooperate and support colleagues.

- In case of absence, the employee’s supervisor will assume and/or assign responsibility for this position’s duties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prefer specialized vocational or technical training
- Must have over five (5+) years of work experience in industrial equipment repair on rotating equipment as a millwright; Centrifugal pumps and compressors are preferred
