Job description

Meador an Openwork Company is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a growing industrial manufacturing facility in Deer Park, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on production equipment and facility systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled equipment
  • Maintain and repair presses, shears, winders, cutters, CNC machinery, lathes, grinders, and other production equipment
  • Assist with welding, millwright work, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and equipment installations as needed
  • Support machine fabrication, equipment restoration, and continuous improvement projects
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Qualifications:
  • Technical certificate or 35 years of industrial maintenance experience (or equivalent)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems
  • Experience working on CNC machinery, presses, lathes, grinders, and industrial manufacturing equipment
  • Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
  • Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and work orders
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment:
  • Industrial manufacturing facility
  • Frequent standing, bending, climbing, and reaching
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and assist with heavier loads as needed
  • Exposure to machinery, noise, temperature changes, and manufacturing conditions

Location: Deer Park, TX
Pay: $25.00/hour
Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:30 PM 12:00 AM
