Job description

Job Description Millwright Foreman Location: Ainsworth, NE Compensation: $35-$40/hr DOE, plus per diem and paid accommodations while traveling Travel: Approximately 60% Lead Crews. Build Big Projects. Make an Impact.

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Millwright Foreman to lead field crews on agricultural and industrial construction projects. If you have a background in grain bins, silos, structural steel, conveyors, material-handling systems, or millwright work and enjoy leading from the front, this is an opportunity to take ownership of high-impact projects while working with a strong, hardworking team. This is a working foreman role.

You will organize the crew, solve problems in the field, maintain a safe and productive jobsite, and help deliver quality work customers can rely on. What You'll Do Lead and work alongside millwright and construction crews on agricultural and industrial projects Install and assemble grain bins, silos, steel buildings, conveyors, bucket elevators, dryers, augers, and other grain-handling equipment Read blueprints, equipment drawings, installation manuals, and site plans Coordinate daily jobsite activities, crew assignments, material staging, and project priorities Perform layout, measurements, alignment, bolting, rigging, welding, and mechanical assembly Work safely around cranes, telehandlers, forklifts, lifts, and other heavy equipment Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards Train and mentor crew members while maintaining accountability and a positive team environment Communicate with project managers, customers, vendors, and field personnel to resolve issues and keep work moving Travel to project sites as needed, approximately 60% of the time What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience in millwright work, agricultural construction, structural steel, industrial equipment installation, or grain-handling systems Previous experience as a Foreman, Leadman, Crew Lead, or Superintendent preferred Experience with grain bins, silos, conveyors, bucket elevators, dryers, augers, steel buildings, or material-handling equipment is highly preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot field installation challenges Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and installation specifications Experience with rigging, welding, bolting, layout, alignment, and mechanical assembly Comfortable working at heights, outdoors, in changing weather conditions, and around heavy equipment Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Willingness to travel and work overtime when project schedules require it OSHA 10/30, welding certifications, rigging certifications, CDL, or NCCER credentials are a plus What We Offer $35-$40/hr, depending on experience Per diem while traveling Paid accommodations while traveling Paid travel expenses Consistent work with a growing company Opportunity to lead crews and build your career in agricultural and industrial construction A team-oriented environment where hard work, safety, and quality matter Join the Team If you are a dependable, safety-minded Millwright Foreman who takes pride in leading crews, solving problems, and building quality projects, we want to hear from you.
