Location: Webberville, MI

Employment Type: Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire (90-Day Evaluation)

Shifts Available: 1st Shift, 2nd Shift, 3rd Shift

Current Schedule Expectations:

Due to increased production demands, maintenance technicians should expect to work 10-hour shifts, 7 days per week, for approximately the next 2 months. Attendance, reliability, and schedule flexibility are essential for success in this role.

Pay Rate: Competitive and based on experience up to $35/hr.

These are contract-to-hire opportunities with the potential for direct hire after 90 days, based on performance, attendance, and business needs.

**Position Summary: **The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining CNC production equipment and manufacturing systems. This position requires a strong background in industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance, CNC controls, and machine diagnostics to maximize equipment uptime and production efficiency.

Successful candidates will be capable of independently diagnosing equipment failures, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities: CNC Maintenance & Troubleshooting

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair CNC machining centers and manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical repairs on production machinery.
  • Troubleshoot CNC controls and machine automation systems.
  • Minimize downtime through efficient diagnostics and corrective repairs.
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment.

Controls & Automation

  • Troubleshoot and support: Fanuc Controls, Siemens Controls
  • Diagnose machine faults and restore equipment to production.
  • Read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement of machine reliability.

Equipment Reliability

  • Repair and replace electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
  • Perform machine adjustments, alignments, and equipment inspections.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and repair records.
  • Follow all plant safety procedures and Lockout/Tagout requirements.

Qualifications Required

  • Significant hands-on industrial maintenance experience.
  • Strong CNC machine troubleshooting and repair experience.
  • Extensive experience with Fanuc Controls.
  • Extensive experience with Siemens Controls.
  • Electrical and mechanical maintenance background.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Manufacturing maintenance experience in a production environment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

Preferred

  • Journeyperson Millwright Certification.
  • Experience supporting high-volume CNC machining operations.
  • Strong understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance practices.
