MILLWRIGHT- MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

Summary

We are seeking a reliable Millwright to join our team on 3rd shift, to set-up, maintain, and troubleshoot foundry tooling, generally 2-piece core/cavity + ejection pins. 

• Full-time, 3RD Shift (11:30pm – 8:00am, (no weekends)
• Starting wage : $23.25 per hour (based on experience)
• Overtime opportunities available on an as-needed basis

• Training will be provided on foundry-specific equipment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Set up of molds and related equipment for production, usually involves replacing worn ejection pins or drilling out clogged vents, and testing ejection function.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including:
  • Bearings and bushings
  • Hydraulic lines
  • Fasteners such as bolts
• Replace worn or damaged components as needed
• Use hand tools and shop equipment safely and effectively (drills, grinders, torch)
• Inspect equipment to identify issues and prevent downtime
• Follow all plant safety procedures, PPE requirements, and lockout/tagout guidelines
• Work cooperatively with coworkers and supervisors

Requirements:

• Driver’s License & Reliable Transportation
• Must be over 18 at the time of hire

Skills and Qualifications:

• Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with hand tools, drills, grinders, and torches.
• Ability to perform maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds & stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to safety and quality standards.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, safety procedures, and production schedules
• Must be punctual, dependable & able to work independently

Experience Requirements:

• A mechanically inclined individual will excel in this job.
• Pre-Employment drug screening is required.
