QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION: No minimum qualifications set.


ORGANIZATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with individuals who have disabilities and or barriers to employment and participate in the achievement of their goals. Demonstrate a positive, role model. Display commitment and involvement towards Goodwill's mission.


JOB PROFICIENCIES: Product Knowledge, Oral Communications, Ethics and Trust, Fashion Sense, Customer Service, General Math, Reading Skills, Writing Skills, Safety and Security.


JOB COMPETENCIES: Answers donation door greets customer and unloads donations. Sorts donations for in-house storage and loads material for store deliveries. Moves materials in or out of the warehouse and operates trash compactor. Cleans work area.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Open facility and ensure all things are in place to manage business.
  • Donation door must be answered in a professional manner and with in 10 seconds.
  • Locate unloaded material in proper places in warehouse.
  • To load material for store deliveries and make deliveries.
  • To move materials in or out of warehouse, as required.
  • Move trash to compactor as needed.
  • Cleans dock area during last 7 minutes of workday.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adhere to all safety policies and reports violations.
  • Support mission statement and activities of other departments.
  • Support the accessibility of our services and facilities free of architectural, attitudinal, environmental, financial, communication, transportation, employment and other barriers to person with disabilities and barriers to employment.
  • Adhere to all ethical standard and confidentiality of records.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
