Responsibilities

A Day in the Life of a Receptionist:

 

As a Liberty Military Housing Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing customer service for all prospective and current residents within a multi-family residential community. Your role requires effective customer service skills and the ability to work efficiently and effectively and deliver on our mission of providing exemplary service in accordance with Liberty Military Housing's quality customer satisfaction standards.

Your Responsibilities include, but not limited to: 

  • Answer phones and return phone calls for management and office staff.
  • Support the processes and procedures to clients leading to the signing of the lease contract.
  • Process applications and ensure they are transferred through the proper channels.
  • Maintain records, take meeting minutes, and file documents.
  • Ensure highly sensitive information is handled in a confidential manner.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Performs other general office duties (i.e. phones, filing, special projects and assignments as needed).
  • Performs various administrative and computer tasks, email communications, input of information/data into various software and information systems (Payscan, Yardi, and other company-related systems).
  • Be familiar with policies and procedures as well as the names and locations of other Liberty Military Housing communities to better assist clients.
  • Participate in and attend various department or regional meetings, resident or community events, seminars, and other work-related events.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies, and all OSHA safety regulations, local applicable laws regarding health, safety or environment, Fair Housing and LMH Standard Operating Procedures and Policies.
Qualifications

What You Need For Success: 

  • Position requires 1-2 years in a customer service role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
  • Must be organized and dependable.
  • Proficiency in personal computer skills, keyboard, internet search, email correspondence, math, Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and other software applications preferred (i.e. Yardi).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, prioritize and complete assigned duties to ensure operational objectives are achieved.
  • Must possess a positive and professional demeanor in all interactions, under all circumstances.
  • Must be able to deal with a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment, including handling multiple tasks on a daily basis.
  • Must be able to work Monday through Friday during regular hours.
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle (valid license required).
  • Ability to travel to other regional locations for work, training, meetings and other work-related activities.
  • May require use of personal or company vehicle.

Pay Range: $19.00 - $21.00 Hourly
