Great Hill Solutions is seeking a full-time Program Support Coordinator at the Defense Institute of International Legal Studies (DIILS) in Newport, RI onsite. DIILS is the lead U.S. Defense Security Cooperation resource for professional legal engagement with international military service members and related civilians.ย ย 

The Program Support Coordinator provides support for mobile and/or virtual execution of congressionally-mandated Rule of Law training programs in two (2) specified Geographic Combatant Commands (GCC). Experience with Defense Department security cooperation and building partnership capacity activities or commercial equivalent is desired.ย 

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing administrative, logistical, and technical support for multiple training programs in multiple foreign nation locations occurring in current and future quarters of each fiscal year.
  • Communications with U.S. embassies, DIILS staff, adjunct instructors, and non-DIILS training instructors to ensure training events are scheduled, executed, and reported on in a timely manner.ย 
  • Assists the DIILS International Operations Officer(s) for the assigned regions with program tracking, scheduling, logistics, and reporting
  • Logistics support includes the development of program cost estimates, preparation, and delivery of printed or digital materials
  • Collaborate to arrange lodging and transportation OCONUS-based
  • Working with U.S. embassy personnel to obtain student rosters
  • Update and obtain translation of curriculum materials

Basic Qualifications:

  • Current Secret Security clearance or ability to attain a DoD Secret Security Clearance or interim prior to start.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college. Prior experience working in the legal field, such as developing training programs related to law and policy, or serving as a paralegal.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of program or course coordination or development experience preferably for legal education programs, experience with scheduling, planning and coordinating logistics related to training programs.
  • Experience with programs that required effective time management and organization skills to synchronize planning schedules for multiple projects.
  • Experience with taskings that required balancing risk, conduct analysis, and recommending solutions in an effective manner.
  • Experience in coordinating multiple lines of effort across multiple projects.
  • Highly proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to report on-site on a hybrid schedule.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Defense Department security cooperation and building partnership capacity activities or commercial equivalent is desired.ย
