Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations. This role requires strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage accounting processes efficiently. The Accounting Manager will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting budgeting and forecasting efforts.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end close processes, reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Prepare and review financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) for accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process by providing accurate financial data and variance analysis.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and reporting support.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with exposure to supervisory or leadership responsibilities preferred but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Proficiency with accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in , Archetype includes a reasonable estimate of the salary for this role. This accounts for the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.
