About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Siemens Teamcenter Data Migration Specialist to lead and execute complex PLM data migration initiatives for our enterprise clients. The ideal candidate has deep hands-on expertise in Teamcenter data structures, migration tools, and legacy-to-Teamcenter conversion strategies, including CAD integration (Creo, NX, CATIA, SolidWorks).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end Teamcenter data migration projects planning, extraction, mapping, transformation, validation, and load
  • Analyze legacy PLM/PDM systems and design migration strategies to Teamcenter
  • Work with Teamcenter migration toolkits (e.g., Migration Toolkit/MTK, ITK, BMIDE) and custom scripts for data conversion
  • Handle CAD data integration
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and QA teams to ensure data integrity and completeness
  • Troubleshoot migration errors, perform reconciliation, and validate migrated data against source systems
  • Document migration processes, mapping rules, and lessons learned
  • Support cutover planning and post-migration stabilization

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Siemens Teamcenter, with dedicated hands-on data migration experience
  • Strong knowledge of Teamcenter data model, BMIDE, ITK/SOA, and migration utilities (MTK, TcXML, etc.)
  • Experience with CAD integration (Creo, NX, CATIA, SolidWorks) and metadata mapping
  • Proficiency in scripting (Python, Java, or similar) for migration automation
  • Familiarity with database tools (Oracle/SQL Server) for data extraction and validation
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to data integrity

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Teamcenter Active Workspace
  • Prior work on large-scale enterprise PLM migration programs (aerospace, automotive, or industrial sectors)
