Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Engagement Leader to drive AWS cloud migration programs. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical knowledge of AWS with proven program management skills to deliver successful migration initiatives while ensuring alignment with business objectives and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement Leadership
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as primary onsite client contact and trusted advisor for cloud migration initiatives
  • Executive Engagement: Present program status, risks, and strategic recommendations to C-level stakeholders
  • Business Alignment: Ensure migration strategy aligns with business objectives and drives measurable value
  • Change Leadership: Lead organizational change management and adoption of cloud-first operating models

Onsite Program Management
  • Strategic Planning: Develop migration roadmap, timelines, and resource allocation across multiple waves
  • Onsite Coordination: Lead daily onsite operations and coordinate with offshore delivery teams
  • Budget Management: Control $10-15M program budget and vendor contracts
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and business risks through proactive client engagement

Technical Coordination
  • Concierto Platform: Work with the platform team to deploy and maintain the platform
  • Technical Integration: Coordinate between client infrastructure, application, security, and network teams
  • Quality Gates: Define and enforce technical criteria for wave completion and go-live decisions
  • Migration Tools: Experience with migration tools & Application Discovery Service
  • AWS Core Services: Understanding of core services: EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS

Delivery Management
  • Wave Planning: Sequence workload migrations based on dependencies and business priorities
  • Resource Coordination: Manage onsite technical teams, client resources, vendors, and coordinate with offshore platform teams
  • Client Communication: Facilitate daily client interactions, status meetings, and stakeholder updates
  • Timeline Management: Track milestones, critical path, and escalate blockers to client leadership
  • Issue Resolution: Drive rapid resolution of technical impediments and facilitate cross-team collaboration onsite
  • Standards Enforcement: Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and architectural standards
  • Process Optimization: Continuously improve migration processes based on lessons learned
  • Knowledge Management: Capture and share technical patterns, procedures, and best practices

Stakeholder Management
  • Business Alignment: Ensure migration priorities align with business objectives and minimize disruption

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Minimum 10 plus years of IT Infrastructure experience
  • 6 plus years of experience in IT program management, with 1-2 successful AWS cloud migration programs.
  • Proven ability to manage migration projects involving 500-1000 servers and 30-50 applications.
  • Strong program management, risk management, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS migration tools and cloud-native services.
  • Experience in managing large-scale cloud migration projects.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and security principles.
  • Experience with Migration, Modernize and DevOps practices and tools.
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements related to cloud computing
  • Extreme familiarity with Cloud Adoption framework and Well Architected Framework
  • Strong analytical skills, business-focused and passionate about the customer experience.
  • Must be able to work in a dynamic work environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, resourcefulness, and ingenuity in solving problems.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while managing a variety of responsibilities.
