Position Summary
ECS is seeking a Cloud Migration Engineer - Senior to support the Army National Guard (ARNG) ENOCS program. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in planning and executing the migration of enterprise applications and infrastructure to approved cloud environments. This position requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies and DoD compliance standards to ensure successful migration while maintaining operational continuity. The engineer will collaborate with various stakeholders to align cloud adoption initiatives with mission objectives, contributing to the broader enterprise program's success.
Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute the migration of enterprise applications and infrastructure to cloud environments.
  • Conduct comprehensive system assessments and dependency analyses to inform migration strategies.
  • Lead re-platforming and refactoring efforts to optimize applications for cloud deployment.
  • Coordinate secure data migration processes in compliance with DoD cloud security requirements.
  • Validate system performance through rigorous migration testing and implement rollback procedures as needed.
  • Ensure migrated environments adhere to RMF controls and enterprise configuration management standards.
  • Collaborate with application developers, infrastructure engineers, and cybersecurity personnel to support secure cloud adoption.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to program stakeholders during transition activities.

Required Qualifications
  • Clearance: Secret Eligible required
  • S. Citizenship required
  • DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 651-Enterprise Architect at the Intermediate proficiency level
  • Certifications (one or more required): SecurityX / CASP+, CCSP, Cloud+, CSSLP, FITSP-D, GDSA, GSEC
  • Education: Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise cloud engineering and infrastructure migration within DoD or Federal IT environments
  • Proven experience in planning and executing application migrations from on-premises to cloud platforms
  • Strong ability to conduct system assessments and perform dependency analysis
  • Experience in implementing DoD cloud security requirements and RMF controls
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
