Job description

Position Summary

This position is responsible for delivering, managing, and maintaining customer inventory levels, ensuring efficient movement of products within the warehouse, and facilitating the overall inventory control processes.

Core Responsibilities

Responsibilities described in this section are fundamental to success in this position.

  • Process and prepare outgoing orders.
  • Pull parts at the warehouse, pack the delivery truck and deliver parts to customers.
  • Receive stock orders (includes damage inspecting, verifying quantities and product)
  • Put stock orders away; organize and arrange inventory in a logical and accessible manner.
  • Communicate customer needs and concerns to Manager and Sales Rep.
  • Breakdown cardboard & move to recycling.
  • Monitor inventory of customers part areas as needed.
  • Cycle count reconciliation
  • Drive parts/orders to customers, pickup will call orders from vendors.
  • Rotate stock and relocate to accommodate fluctuating inventory levels.
  • Assists in counting physical inventory to ensure accuracy of stock levels.
  • Uses personal device to provide an additional layer of security for company network and site access through multi-factor authentication.
  • Maintains inventory levels and ensures the warehouse is clean and safe.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

The requirements listed below are the minimum degrees, certifications, knowledge, skill, and/or ability required of this position.

  • Valid driver's license without restrictions that affects your ability to operate company owned vehicle(s) and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1+ years' parts warehouse experience
  • Forklift and pallet jack experience
  • Prior warehouse experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills. 
  • Good communication and phone skills
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, emails, typing, etc.)
  • Ability to process parts transactions, shipping/core transactions in business system.
  • Ability to decipher shipping documents.
  • Ability and skills in material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, standing lift)
  • Ability to decipher and understand part numbering systems for various vendors.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Consistently demonstrates the behaviors of servant leadership while prioritizing team member needs, acting as a trusted advisor, and fostering a culture of respect and empowerment.   
  • Ability to maintain a good driving record.
