In this full-time role, you will be instrumental in delivering therapeutic interventions and support to individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, promoting their emotional and psychological well-being.

About the Organization

At Midtown Behavioral Health, we are committed to improving the lives of our clients by offering accessible mental health services tailored to individuals of all backgrounds. Our clinic specializes in creating compassionate care plans that address mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, and trauma-related issues. Our team is composed of experienced professionals dedicated to fostering an environment of growth and healing.

Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a strong connection with clients through virtual therapy sessions. Our Hospice Center environment reflects a commitment to compassionate care, and although you may work independently, you will remain an integral member of a collaborative multidisciplinary team that values your input and expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to understand clients' mental health needs, strengths, and available resources, ensuring a tailored approach to therapy.
  • Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions using a variety of evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care practices.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that include specific goals, interventions, and methods for measuring progress in collaboration with other team members.
  • Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions and psychoeducation classes, fostering a supportive environment where clients can share and learn from one another.
  • Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment, offering immediate support and safety planning when clients are in distress or facing acute challenges.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in accordance with ethical and legal standards, using our electronic health record system.
  • Regularly participate in case consultations and multidisciplinary team meetings to share insights and coordinate care effectively among professionals.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients include individuals navigating a spectrum of mental health challenges, from children to older adults. In this role, you will be equipped to adapt your therapeutic approach for diverse populations with varying needs, including those in crisis, those managing longstanding mental health issues, and those seeking support during end-of-life situations as part of our hospice framework.

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) within the state of Virginia.
  • A minimum of two years of professional experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, providing direct client services.
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities and ability to apply them effectively to client care.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills, fostering trust and rapport with clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working within a hospice or palliative care context is a plus, offering familiarity with the unique emotional and psychological needs of clients facing serious illness.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health records to manage documentation and session notes.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, with an annual salary between $80,000 and $100,000, complemented by performance-based bonuses. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • Health insurance options that cover medical, dental, and vision care.
  • Retirement plans with employer match, empowering you to save for your future.
  • Generous paid time off policy, encompassing vacation days, personal leave, and holidays.
  • Continuing education and professional development opportunities to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Insurance coverage provided to support your health and wellness.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Midtown Behavioral Health, we prioritize professional development and career advancement. You will have access to regular training sessions and workshops to expand your skill set. Opportunities for assuming leadership roles and participating in special projects are available for those who demonstrate initiative and commitment to our mission.

Why Join Our Team
