Medical Director – Wound Care Columbus, GA | 2–3 Days per Week

Korzen Health, in collaboration with Healogics and Midtown Medical Center, is seeking a Medical Director to lead our wound care program in Columbus, GA.

This is an excellent opportunity for a physician looking for a part-time leadership role, 2–3 days per week, while remaining actively involved in the clinical care of patients with chronic and complex wounds.

Position Highlights
  • Part-time schedule – 2–3 days per week
  • Medical Director leadership opportunity

  • Collaboration with Healogics and Midtown Medical Center
  • Provide clinical oversight and leadership to the wound care program
  • Evaluate and treat patients with chronic and complex wounds
  • Opportunity to work with an experienced multidisciplinary team
  • No nights or weekends
  • Support, resources, and training provided
Medical Director Responsibilities
  • Provide medical leadership and clinical oversight for the wound care center
  • Evaluate and manage patients with chronic, complex, diabetic, pressure, vascular, and other wounds
  • Perform appropriate wound care procedures, including debridement
  • Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and other members of the care team
  • Monitor clinical outcomes and promote evidence-based wound care practices
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for the wound care team
  • Help ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered wound care
Ideal Candidate
  • MD or DO with an active Georgia medical license
  • Board certified or board eligible in an appropriate specialty
  • Wound care experience preferred
  • Comfortable performing wound care procedures and debridement
  • Strong clinical leadership and communication skills
  • Enjoys working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Passionate about improving outcomes for patients with chronic wounds
