Job description

GENERAL PURPOSE: 
This role is responsible for planning, managing, and supporting the organization's enterprise middleware technologies, including MuleSoft, ETL tools, MFT, message brokers, and various integration platforms. This critical position will lead the evolution of our middleware ecosystem to support large scale strategic initiatives, while ensuring the long-term stability, scalability, and resilience of our integration landscape.

The base salary range for this role is $134,300 - $229,400. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    Develop a high performing team. Coach and develop the team to maximize performance and value addition to the company while maintaining high morale. Cultivate a mindset of process improvement and efficiency at all levels.
    Plan, manage, and support the enterprise middleware technologies, including MuleSoft, ETL tools, MFT, message brokers, B2B applications.
    Lead and develop a team of middleware developers and support engineers to successfully deliver large and complex integration projects.
    Provide Level 3 (L3) escalation support for production systems, including related enhancements. Ensure adherence to proper testing practices, documentation standards, and change management procedures
    Drive architecture and design improvements while continuously enhancing integration processes, tools, and operational efficiencies
    Partner with application leads on major initiatives, representing the integration team and performing technical analysis, internal consulting, and design reviews.
    Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
    Prepare regular status reports, dashboards, and metrics related to integration activities. Present middleware and integration updates to leadership, effectively communicating risks, progress, and key decisions.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
    Minimum 8-10 years of overall IT experience, including at least 5 years leading middleware and/or application development teams.
    5 years of hands-on experience with major middleware platforms, API deployment, and middleware platform engineering and maintenance.
    Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field-or equivalent work experience.
    Proven project management experience, with the ability to lead complex integration initiatives.
    Demonstrated ability to manage distributed teams across multiple time zones
    Strong ability to anticipate and navigate critical situations, negotiate solutions, and resolve conflicts effectively.
    Deep understanding of objectoriented principles, middleware technologies, integration patterns, and current industry trends.
    Experience with message brokers and application servers such as WebLogic, Apache, and related technologies.
    Strong technical competency with the ability to oversee internal developers, analysts, consultants, and external vendor resources.
    Excellent communication skills - must have strong writing skills to convey key messages to senior leaders. This includes the results and implications of analysis in both verbal and written (PowerPoint) forms.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:
Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer. 
Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc. 
Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.  
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
This role requires regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback. However, this role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in-office and remote work.
