About this role

What we're looking for:

We are looking for a Mid-Level Attorney with 2-4 years of experience to join a highly regarded litigation boutique handling insurance defense matters. You'll manage your own docket of cases across car wreck, trucking accident, and premises liability matters while working alongside experienced trial lawyers who actually try cases — not just litigate them.

What will you be doing?

  • Managing your own docket of insurance defense cases (auto, trucking, premises liability) with partner oversight

  • Handling depositions and court hearings independently

  • Drafting motions, briefs, and other legal documents

  • Participating in trial preparation and potentially gaining trial experience

  • Collaborating with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy

  • Hours target: 2,016 hours/year (~166 hours/month)

Key Requirements

  • 2-4 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense

  • Ability to handle depositions and court hearings independently

  • Strong legal writing skills

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas

  • Must be a good person who works well with others and can reliably discharge responsibilities
