Software Developer (.NET / Kubernetes / Commerce) – Full-Time, Onsite in Westlake, OH
Location: Westlake, OH

About the Role
We are seeking an entry to mid-level Software Developer with a strong foundation in C#, .NET Core, Web API, and containerized environments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys backend engineering, API development, and contributing to large-scale modernization initiatives.
You will support the ongoing migration from WebSphere Commerce to HCL Commerce, enhance internal search capabilities, and work on cloud-native services deployed via Kubernetes. This is a hands-on engineering role with long-term impact as the organization evaluates and rebuilds its Commerce platform over the next several years.
What You’ll Work On
Commerce Platform Modernization
•     Contribute to the migration from WebSphere Commerce to HCL Commerce
•     Build and maintain integrations with the Commerce platform
•     Support long-term planning for a full Commerce platform replacement by 2028 (custom or 3rd‑party)
API & Backend Development
•     Develop and maintain C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and RESTful Web APIs
•     Build microservices and backend components supporting internal and customer-facing applications
•     Improve performance, reliability, and scalability across services
Cloud & Containerization
•     Deploy and manage services using Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, and related tooling
•     Contribute to CI/CD workflows and cloud-native best practices
Search & Authentication Enhancements
•     Upgrade and enhance Fusion Search, used across internal applications
•     Own integrations with Okta for Single Sign-On (SSO)
•     Learn and support identity and access management best practices
Required Skills & Experience
•     2–5 years of hands-on software development experience
•     Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Web API
•     Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or other container orchestration tools
•     Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and backend architecture
•     Ability to work onsite in Westlake, OH (4 days per week)
Nice-to-Have Experience
•     Exposure to WebSphere Commerce or HCL Commerce (not required; learnable)
•     Experience integrating Okta or other SSO providers
•     Familiarity with search technologies or search platform upgrades
•     Background in eCommerce or large-scale transactional systems
