Job Summary


The Senior Project Manager provides leadership and oversight for complex Government and DoD programs supporting mission objectives and organizational priorities. This role is responsible for managing program execution, coordinating resources, overseeing schedules and budgets, and ensuring successful delivery of program objectives across multiple projects or task areas.

The ideal candidate possesses strong program management experience within federal or defense environments, the ability to manage cross-functional teams, and experience supporting senior leadership in high-visibility operational settings.


Responsibilities

  • Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale programs and projects
  • Support development of program objectives, schedules, and strategic priorities
  • Oversee day-to-day program operations, resource allocation, and task management activities
  • Monitor technical milestones, budgets, schedules, and overall program performance
  • Coordinate with Government leadership, stakeholders, and technical teams to support mission objectives
  • Identify program risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve operational challenges
  • Prepare and deliver program status updates, reports, and executive briefings
  • Support technical planning, requirements management, and program integration activities
  • Ensure program deliverables are completed within approved scope, schedule, and budget constraints
  • Assist with contract management, staffing coordination, and operational planning
  • Oversee subordinate project leads and support personnel as required
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration across program teams and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, organizational policies, and management procedures

Education and Experience

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in business, Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience managing programs or projects within Government or DoD environments
  • Supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Experience supporting and communicating with SES and Flag-level personnel
  • Demonstrated ability to manage contract support efforts efficiently and cost-effectively
  • Experience overseeing schedules, budgets, staffing, and program execution activities
  • Background supporting complex operational, technical, or organizational initiatives
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and multiple project activities
