Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will support projects in the fields of hydrogeology, water resources, surface hydraulics and hydrology, and geotechnical engineering. The candidate will perform technical analyses with guidance by a supervisor. Other tasks include data collection, compilation, visualization, and analysis, computer modeling, field activities, oral or written presentation to supervisor, project team, and clients. In addition, candidates will participate in proposal development, project management and business development activities.
Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree with background in groundwater/hydrogeology, environmental engineering, surface water hydraulics, coastal engineering, hydrology and/or geotechnical fields
  • Excellent data analysis skills, such as knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning methods
  • Excellent computer modeling skills. Knowledge of models such as TOUGH, MODFLOW, MIKE21 is preferred
  • Proficiency in programming in at least one coding language, such as MATLAB, R, and/or Python
  • Knowledge of statistical and probabilistic analysis
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Critical thinking, time management, and problem-solving skills

  • Valid drivers license and ability to pass a standard background check and pre-employment drug screen
