MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our team in Crane, IN. You will help protect our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement at an industry-leading organization.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Utilizing computer-assisted engineering and design (CAD) software to build schematics, circuit boards, and 3D models.
  • Conceptualizing new uses for electrical power to improve products or systems through innovative design.
  • Performing detailed calculations regarding energy requirements, capacity, and material costs to support planning.
  • Building and testing initial prototype models to analyze real-world performance and behavior scenarios.
  • Inspecting electrical components and systems to identify defects, safety hazards, or inefficiencies.
  • Modifying existing designs based on test results to optimize performance, reliability, and project requirements.
  • Managing manufacturing, construction, and installation processes to ensure final builds match exact design specifications.
  • Ensuring all electrical systems and instrumentation adhere to local, national, and international compliance and safety codes.
  • Working alongside project managers, mechanical engineers, and software developers to ensure design integrity and cross-functional alignment.
  • Writing detailed technical documentation, operational standards, and troubleshooting guides for internal databases and end-users.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of professional experience.
  • Bachelor's level degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working in a DoD environment

Clearance Requirements:
  • Must possess a Secret security clearance

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
  • Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
