Job description

We're hiring a Controller to build the finance function behind $300M+ in annual global charitable giving; from the ground up, not inherited. 


Our client, a NYC-based donor-advised fund sponsor, moves $290M - $310M in gifts and grants each year to charities worldwide. This Controller will own the GL, fund accounting, treasury, and investment ops support while reporting to the COO and working directly with the Board and Audit/Investment Committees.

We are looking for someone who's owned a monthly close and audit end-to-end, has real fund accounting depth (restricted/designated funds, spending policy), and wants to design systems, not just run them.
