Job description

The Mechanical Engineer II will lead complex mechanical engineering projects, from design through implementation. This role involves high-level technical decision-making, as well as mentoring and overseeing junior and mid-level engineers. The Mechanical Engineer III will collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

•Lead the design, development, and optimization of advanced mechanical systems and products.

•Oversee and manage large-scale engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and specifications.

•Provide high-level technical expertise and strategic direction on engineering challenges.

•Conduct advanced simulations, testing, and analysis to optimize designs for performance and reliability.

•Review and approve engineering drawings, designs, and prototypes.

•Collaborate with internal teams (electrical, software, manufacturing) and external stakeholders (clients, suppliers) to ensure project success.

•Mentor and train junior and mid-level engineers, providing guidance on best practices and design techniques.

•Stay updated with the latest trends in mechanical engineering and contribute to the continuous improvement of the engineering process.

Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering.

•7+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a proven track record of successful project leadership.

•Expertise in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)

•In-depth knowledge of advanced mechanical design, analysis, and manufacturing techniques.

•Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.

•Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

•Experience with product development lifecycle, from concept to production.

•Experience in regulatory compliance and industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASME).
