Atlas is seeking an AI Developer for our shared services Information Technology (IT) department in the Atlanta, GA officeThis will be a hybrid position.
The Atlas AI Developer will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying artificial intelligence solutions tailored to sales, manufacturing, financials, logistics, and IT operations. This role requires a solid understanding of artificial intelligence tools and techniques, machine learning, data analysis, and software engineering principles, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation and operational efficiency.
AI Developer Primary Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, logistics, and plant management teams across all divisions to define needs, recommend and develop AI-driven solutions related to improvements in sales, sales operations, financials, manufacturing, logistics, IT, etc.
  • Integrate AI applications with existing systems, including enterprise applications, server infrastructure, digital asset management, and document workflows, ensuring seamless data exchange and high reliability.
  • Maintain, monitor, and update deployed AI solutions, proactively identifying opportunities for enhancement and troubleshooting issues in collaboration with third-party vendors and internal teams.
  • Conduct research and stay current on emerging AI technologies, tools, and best practices, recommending innovative approaches for continuous improvement.
  • Document development processes for AI systems, ensuring clarity and compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide training and support to end users and stakeholders, providing knowledge and increasing adoption of AI solutions.
  • Explain technical concepts to non-technical users in a clear and professional manner.
  • Travel up to 25%

AI Developer Experience
  • At least 1 year developing and applying Ai related solutions to solve real-world process challenges in a business environment, preferably multi-site sales and manufacturing, is preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with leaders at all levels of the organization.

AI Developer Knowledge Skills and Abilities
  • Strong ability to convert business challenges into practical solutions by leveraging AI technology forms such as generative, agentic, predictive, descriptive, diagnostic, prescriptive, etc.
  • Experience working with AI platforms, advanced language models, machine learning, deep learning, automation systems, scripting, and smart workflow solutions.
  • Strong familiarity with DevOps, development of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), modern AI development platforms (Codex, Python, Bicep, Claude Code, GitHub, Cursor).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft CoPilot, CoPilot Studio, Azure Ai Services, Microsoft Fabric, Windows, Linux, MS Office 365, Intune, ServiceNow, and common IT support tools.
  • Ability to prioritize, focus, and troubleshoot the most important challenges and issues.
  • Strong and creative problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal communication, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Embraces change and will strive to improve our ecosystem with emerging and proven technologies.
  • Hands-on approach and a self-starter.
  • Effective time management skills.

AI Developer Education and/or Certifications
  • Master's or bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, artificial intelligence, or a related degree
  • Certifications related to this role are a plus
