Position Summary
Temporary technician positions. No benefits. CMU occasionally has temporary technician positions available in various departments. Duties and responsibilities vary by department but primarily require specialized knowledge, applied scientific or technical skills. Responsibilities may include laboratory support, technical assistance for researchers or the library, medical billing/coding, technical operations assistance related to setup, production and breakdown of events, classroom technical support, printing press support, maintenance, etc.
Required Qualifications
Associate's degree may be required.
Related work experience.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and computer skills, as well as demonstrated ability to work with others in a collaborative environment.
Possess outstanding organizational skills and be motivated to initiate and complete tasks independently.
Demonstrated ability to be detail oriented.
Ability to follow and/or interpret verbal and/or written directions.
Ability to communicate effectively.
May require possession of a valid Michigan driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
At least one year of related work experience.
