Trenchless Estimator – Civil Construction
Houston, TX
$95,000 – $145,000 base plus bonus potential and benefits


The Opportunity

A growing civil contractor in the Houston market is looking to add a Trenchless Estimator to their estimating team.

This role will focus on trenchless and underground utility work including HDD, microtunneling, pipe bursting, and related scopes.

You will work directly with leadership and operations to support bidding efforts and help drive backlog across North Texas as they continue to grow!

Responsibilities

Prepare estimates and bids for trenchless and underground utility projects
Review plans, specifications, and geotechnical reports
Perform quantity takeoffs and develop pricing
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotes
Assist with bid strategy and proposal development
Coordinate with project managers and field teams


Qualifications

  • 4+ or more years of estimating experience in civil construction
  • Experience with trenchless methods such as HDD, microtunneling, pipe bursting, or underground utilities highly preferred
  • Experience with estimating software such as HCSS HeavyBid is a plus

Compensation

Base salary range of $95,000 to $145,000 depending on experience
